Focus: Cultivating a culture of electoral participation and ethical voting from the grassroots level.

Goal

The primary goal of the ELC is to build a nation of informed and ethical electoral participants. It sensitizes students about the value of their vote and the importance of the electoral process in a democratic setup.

Learning Objectives

By participating in the ELC, students will be able to:

  • Understand the Registration Process: Learn voter registration and NVSP usage.
  • Master the Voting Mechanism: Understand EVM and VVPAT functioning.
  • Analyze Electoral Ethics: Identify misinformation and unethical practices.
  • Simulate Democratic Exercises: Participate in mock polls and role-based activities.
  • Communicate Civic Duty: Encourage community participation in elections.
